Virtual Flash allows the user to store CD - floppy and hard drive images directly on the iDRAC. Users can store emergency boot images - diagnostic tools - or anything else that can fit in a 4GB partition. Users can create up to 16 partitions. Administrators can use virtual flash to house a persistent image for future general or emergency use without relying on network resources or the constant presence of a client as with Virtual Media. Content can be stored permanently on vFlash or can be deleted and added as necessary. This is ideal for customers with slow bandwidth connections to the DRAC.
